IOPC Day 9: Dhall, Ahuja & Wadhawan Win Big Titles

The much awaited IOPC on Spartan Poker is back! Packed with an incredible 25 Crores worth of guarantees in 113 events, the IOPC lives up to its name and attracts the best in the country. The winner of the main event, The Crown, will receive, not a medal, but an actual physical Crown!

The players get a chance to fight for the huge Leaderboard worth 1 Crore as well throughout the entirety of the event. During the two weeks of IOPC 2020, a total of 131 events are scheduled with buy-ins ranging from ₹550 to ₹1.10 Lakhs!

IOPC #57 4L GTD (RE) 

The first tournament of Day 9 was the IOPC #57 4L GTD (RE). The  ₹550 buy-in event received a total of 773 entries(including reentries and rebuys). The prizepool was distributed to top 63 places and a minimum cash of ₹1,740. Sanat ‘avneed’ Mehrotra shipped the event and earned himself a payout of ₹57,845 after beating ‘Aman_d_parry’ in the final heads-up who earned ₹52,536 for the second place. 

IOPC #58 6L GTD (RE) 

The ₹1,650 buy-in event received a total of 428 entries(including reentries and rebuys) and created a prize pool of ₹6,42,000. With a total of 31 places paid and a min cash of ₹5,650, the tournament was won by ‘gabbarsingh’ for a payout of ₹1,17,088 after beating ‘Optimus_NK’ in the final heads-up who earned ₹1,10,115 for second place.

IOPC #59 MONSTER STACK 5L GTD (RE)

The IOPC #59 MONSTER STACK 5L GTD (RE) received a total of 803 entries (including rebuys). ‘FunkeyFox’ shipped the event for a payout of  ₹1,14,905 while Prithvi ‘PrithviB18’ Bhatia received the runner-up payout of ₹87,194! 

IOPC #60 3L GTD (RE) 

The IOPC #60 3L GTD (RE) had a buy-in of ₹1,100 and received a total of 372 entries (including reentries and rebuys). Online reg, ‘Noobdaddy7’ shipped the event for a payout of  ₹67,195 while Sanat ‘avneed’ Mehrotra  received the runner-up payout of ₹64,455!

IOPC #61 18L GTD TGIF (RE)

The IOPC #61 18L GTD TGIF (RE) was the second biggest prize on offer for the day. It had a buy-in of ₹1,650 and received a total of 1,539 entries (including reentries and rebuys). It was online reg Parikshit ‘zapdos1311’ Dhall who shipped the event for a payout of ₹4,27,303 after beating ‘tittooTauji’ who earned a payout of ₹2,60,168!

IOPC #62 60L GTD THE ELITE (RE)

The IOPC #62 60L GTD THE ELITE (RE) had buy-in of ₹11,000 and received a total of 738 entries (including reentries and rebuys) which was enough to crush the massive guarantee. It was lawyer turned professional poker player Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja who shipped the event for a payout of  ₹1169382 after beating Yohan ‘PAPITO’ Patel who earned a payout of ₹11,52,366. The massive prizepool of ₹73,80,000 was collected by the top 71 players with a min payout of ₹28,044.

IOPC #63 DESTINY 10L GTD (RE)

The IOPC #63 DESTINY 10L GTD (RE) had a buy-in of ₹2,200 and received a total of 723 entries (including reentries and rebuys) creating a prize pool of ₹14,46,000. With a total of 60 places paid, the tournament was won by Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan for a payout of ₹3,75,960 after beating ‘kidpokerNJ in the final heads-up who earned ₹2,31,360 for second place.
