NFL Betting Preview: Arizona Cardinals vs. Buffalo Bills – Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020

We’ve got a serious contender for game of the weekend in this inter-conference matchup on Sunday as part of the Week 10 slate in the NFL between the Buffalo Bills (7-2) and the Arizona Cardinals (5-3).

The game will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2016, with the Bills winning seven of the previous 11 all-time matchups. It’s also the first time in the series both franchises have had winning records this late into the season leading into the head-to-head contest since 1975.

Buffalo Bills Betting Preview: Allen Wrench

In Week 9, Josh Allen tied his career-high with 415 passing yards, leading the Bills to a 44-34 shootout victory over the Seahawks in Buffalo. He threw for three touchdowns and ran for another in the 44-34 win, earning his second AFC Offensive Player of the Week award this year.

Buffalo started the season with four straight wins, lost their next two, and are currently riding a three-game win streak heading into this showdown with Arizona.

Allen’s 2,587 passing yards are good for third in the NFL, and his 19 passing TD’s are tied for fifth. He has planted himself firmly in the MVP conversation, currently installed with the fourth-shortest odds behind Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, and the quarterback he outdueled last Sunday, Russell Wilson, according to MyBookie.

The Cardinals’ last win also came against Seattle, and also in shootout fashion. It was an overtime thriller in which their young quarterback, Kyler Murray, also outdueled Wilson.

However, Arizona was unable to build off that momentum coming out of their bye week in a home loss to the Miami Dolphins last week. A win would have put them in first place in the NFC West, but Arizona remains in the thick of the playoff hunt, playing in what has become the best division in football.

The Cardinals are also hopeful that they’ll get Kenyan Drake back this week. The running back returned to the practice field this week after missing the Dolphins game due to an ankle injury he suffered late against the Seahawks.

Bills vs. Cardinals Betting Odds & Lines

MyBookie has the Cardinals as slim favorites in this one, laying 1.5 points at home, with an over/under of 56.5, the highest posted total on the weekend card.

That over/under has skyrocketed since first opening, going from 49 to where it is now. The Bills had scored 30 or more points in three of their first four games but only eclipsed that mark again this past week against a porous Seattle defense.

The Cardinals, on the other hand, have scored at least 30 in four straight. Buffalo was more impressive in Week 9, but the line indicates a bounce-back for the home team. Look for Arizona to get DeAndre Hopkins more involved this week, after seeing only three targets vs. Miami.
