I cover the three richest races here, but you can always find Parx Racing’s complete card, including entries, jockeys, and betting options, at our recommended horse racing betting sites.

Today’s Parx Racing picks and tips follow below. Post time for the first race on Monday is 12:55 PM (EDT).

A – Coupled Entries – 1 – Fairly Bold, 1A – Smooth Don B
B – Coupled Entries – 2 – Smart Royal T, 2X – Gilded Warrior

Race 6 Prediction and Pick

The 5/2 moneyline favorite is definitely the horse to beat in this race: Call Wil, ridden by Ruben Silvera. This nine-year-old gelding finished in the money 25 of his 47 career starts, with 12 of those wins.

Race 6 Tip

Bet the 20/1 longshots—the coupled entries of Fairly Bold and Smooth Don B. Both have poor records for career starts, but you get to wager on two horses for a single two-dollar bet—is this a great country or what? Besides, both jockeys are among the top of the food chain here at Parx. It could happen.

A – Coupled Entries – 1 – Oui Madame, 1A – Double Doink

Race 7 Prediction and Pick

I’m backing the second half of the coupled entries in this race at 9/5: Double Doink, with top jockey Frankie Pennington in the irons. This filly moneyed once in her three career starts, and it doesn’t hurt that her pilot is the winningest jockey in this race.

Race 7 Tip

Longest odds I’d take a risk on would be 8/1, which means a show ticket on Lucky Olivia Rose, with Angel R. Rodriguez aboard. This three-year-old filly finished in the money once out of two career starts, and her pilot in this race has impressive wins/WPS statistics.

  • Double Doink

  • Post Time: 4:31 PM
  • Purse: $35,000
  • Distance: 6 furlongs
  • For Registered Pennsylvania-Bred Fillies And Mares Three Years Old And Upward Which Have Never Won One Pennsylvania-Restricted Race(s) Other Than Maiden, Claiming, Or Starter.

Race 9 Runners and Odds Forecast

  • 1 Charly’s Charm, A Y Nunez, 6/1
  • 2 Akna, S Gonzalez, 8/1
  • 3 Pink Caddy, M J Sanchez, 8/5
  • 4 Capital Q, R J Rosado, 7/2
  • 5 Philadelphia Belle, A R Rodriguez, 5/1
  • 6 Key Light, A Salgado, 9/2
  • 7 Ice Cream Party, J M Perez, 15/1

Race 9 Prediction and Pick

I can’t argue with the 8/5 moneyline favorite here—Pink Caddy is at the top of the list in this field with three money finishes out of four career starts, with two of those wins. And with top jockey Mychel J. Sanchez in the irons, this could be one of those happy endings we’ve always heard about.

Race 9 Tip

At 15/1, a show bet isn’t out of line on Ice Cream Party, with newcomer Jorge M. Perez aboard. This four-year-old filly finished in the money three times in her seven career starts, with two of those wins.

  • Pink Caddy
