PGA: BMW Championship at Olympia Fields Country Club

Boys. This is the premier golf event in my life. I have caddied at this golf club for 5 years of my life now. I know this course like the back of my fucking hand. Lets make some fucking money.

They’ve been growing out the rough on the course for months now, however most of us anticipate that the PGA will make them cut it to promote birdies. The course is already a par 70 (holes 1 & 15 are the par 5s, however PGA events usually play 10-18 as 1-9 and 1-9 as 10-18 there) so expect low scores. Jim Furyk shot a 272 there at the 2003 US Open and tied the lowest 72 hole score at the time.

The important part here is that a majority of the top 70 players on tour have never played this course before. The last major male golf event played there was the 2015 US Amateur, won by …..

Bryson DeChambeau.

Anyway, expect low scores. Golfers that drive the ball straight and can shot shape well will fare very well this weekend.

My picks for top 20:

Bryson DeChambeau

Matthew Wolff (won the Fighting Illini Invitational at OFCC last year)

Colin Morikawa (came in second at the FII)

Tiger Woods (played the course well in the past, could make a good run at it with a course that demands good iron play)

Might update this post later with some more info once I look at some more odds.
