Stats Perform signs Betting Data Rights Deal with USL

Leading sports data and technology supplier, Stats Perform, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with the United Soccer League (USL) in terms of which it will secure long-term official betting data rights for the two professional domestic leagues in the league, the USL Championship and the USL League One.

The deal with the USL is directly matching the firm’s obtaining of
official data rights for national team games for Major League Soccer (MLS) and
US Men and Women National Team games in January this year.

The new deal will also see Stats Perform provide game, team and player
data for more than 1,000 USL soccer matches per season through the company’s
RunningBall event feed and opta player data services, with the potential to add
more competitions beyond USL Championship and League One.

Alice Rice, the Chief Rights Officer for Stats Perform commented that
soccer is the undisputed biggest betting sport in the world, which means
hundreds of licensed sports books and millions of bettors trust them to power
their entertainment by collecting data with the utmost professionalism and
integrity.

Lizzie Seedhouse, Senior Vice President for Digital & Emerging
Technology and Strategy of the USL said that they are excited to partner with
Stats Perform as they continue to explore the landscape of sports betting.

Seedhouse went on to say that through a seemingly ever-changing
landscape, the USL’s priority remains quality and integrity of its data – two
qualities that Stats Perform carries as a proven leader in this space.
