Tuesday’s Betting Tips
Man City‘s tremdous run of form can take them top of the Premier League on Tuesday with a win at West Brom, making them the NINTH team to top the table this season. Pep’s men have won 10-in-a-row in all competitions and but they’ve not been overly impressive on the road this season, scoring just 10 goals in eight on their travels.
However, West Brom’s 24 goals conceded at home is way more than any other team so their visit to the Hawthorns might give City the chance to boost their away numbers.
Southampton and Arsenal meet four days after an own goal by Gabriel helpded the Saints dump the Gunners out the FA Cup. Like Saturday the bookies still rate Arsenal chances of winning here better that Southampton’s with Bet365 going 6/5 on Mikel Arteta’s side and a biggish looking 5/2 on the Saints.
Newcastle couldn’t be backed on current form, not even at 11/4 at home to Leeds.
While West Ham, who have the chance to go fourth – above Liverpool, Spurs and Everton, take the trip to Selhurst Park on the back of five wins on the spin and haven’t lost since before Christmas. The Hammers are 11/8, Palace are 21/10.
In Scotland Hearts can make amends for their 3-2 defeat to Raith Rovers at the weekend when the two sides meet again. The Jambos will be keen to prove that was freak result and re-open a nine point gap at the top of the table. Their games are usually full of goals – 10 of 12 have seen Over 2.5 goals and the same number seen both team score, so Hearts to win and score 2 or more could be worth back at 20/23.
