WSOP Online: The first decisions in the GGNetwork

wsop highlights

The time has come! The biggest poker festival found its way to the virtual felt this year and the GGNetwork with GGPoker and Natural8 are right at the forefront, bringing a total of 54 WSOP Bracelet events to the international audience from July 19 to September 6.

Before the first winners are crowned this evening, there are still some starting flights to the Opening Event available for players to qualify for the decisive finale. Besides the $1,111 Covid Relief charity tournament, the 2-Day Opening Event is the first one to conclude this evening, coming with a buy-in of only $100 and still a hefty prize pool of $2,000,000 GTD.

That first prize pool given away is already something to raise eye brows on a regular Sunday tournament evening, especially when a WSOP bracelet is up for grabs as well. However, it is still going to be dwarfed by what’s slated to come our way these next seven weeks.

Record-breaking prize pools

Things are going to get intense as never before at the virtual tables in at least five events coming with a guaranteed prize pool of $5,000,000 or more. Amongst those are Event #48: The Millionaire Maker, Event #63: The Mini Main Event as well as Event #83: The WSOP Super MILLION$, all guaranteeing a massive prize pool of at least $5 million.

That’s not the end of it, though. Event #70: The NLHE Poker Players Championship with a $25,000 buy-in will see prizes of at least $10,000,000 given away, while the one event to rule them all, the WSOP Main Event concluding on August 30 will see a record-breaking prize pool of at least $25 million changing hands, with players limited to a total of three bullets to crown themselves the next world champion!

Bang for your buck, too!

Obviously, the buy-ins in the events guaranteeing the biggest prize pools are not for the faint of heart, but GGPoker, Natural8 and the WSOP have made sure there’s something in store for everyone when people, for once, have the chance to win the most prestigious prize in poker from the comfort of their living room.

Some of the lowest buy-in events of the schedule offer incredible value when compared to their guarantees, so they are something you really don’t want to miss if you’re looking to be a part of a historic online series that we’ll probably never see again.

The lowest buy-in clocks in at a modest $50 for Event #71: The BIG 50, still coming with a substantial $1,000,000 guarantee. Of course, there’s also the aforementioned Event #32: The Opener, with an affordable $100 buy-in and a $2,000,000 guarantee, complimented by Event #84: The WSOP MILLION$ also with the same buy-in at $100 and guarantee of $2,000,000.

$5 Million in promotions during WSOP

As you’re able to see, there’s no doubt the GGNetwork is the place to be this summer, topping off the historic online edition of the WSOP with a range of promotions that will see a further $5 million given away to players in all kinds of variants apart from the heavily frequented tournament tables.

These promotions include special sponsorship deals for WSOP Bracelet winners as well as daily leaderboard races of up to $25,000 in Spin & Gold, Rush & Cash, Short Deck, Age of Fortune and Omaha games. Additionally, there’s also the WSOP Silk Road available, a special micro-stakes tournament schedule running all the way until the end of August where players can start their bracelet journey for pocket change.

Lastly, a WSOP wouldn’t be the real deal without a Player of the Series, so naturally that’s included as well in the online edition, coming with a special golden mouse trophy and a name in the history books for the winner!
